About

The second generation of search marketing.

FindWhat.ai was founded by Chase Henderson. It’s named after FindWhat.com — one of the pay-per-click search companies of the late 90s and early 2000s, built by the founder’s father. Twenty-five years later, discovery is moving from search engines to answer engines, and we’re here to do the same work again.

Founder

Who runs FindWhat.ai?

Chase Henderson is the founder of FindWhat.ai. He built the audit because the AI-visibility tools he tried could say a business was invisible but couldn’t show the evidence or say what to fix first.

Background + credentials

What is Chase actually qualified to do?

Chase has spent the last several years building AI systems and marketing infrastructure for small and mid-sized businesses — from custom agent deployments to full-stack marketing automations. The through-line: solving practical revenue problems for owner-operated businesses, not enterprise pitch-decks.

What FindWhat.ai brings together is the technical work (agent design, data pipelines, structured markup, prompt engineering, LLM evaluation) plus the marketing work (positioning, content, funnel design). Same person doing both halves means the audit’s recommendations aren’t theoretical — every fix in the roadmap is one Chase or the team has shipped in production before.

The FindWhat.com legacy

Why the name?

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, FindWhat.com was one of the original pay-per-click search-marketing companies — an early competitor to Overture and Google’s ad model, at the moment discovery was first shifting to search engines. It was built by Chase’s father.

Twenty-five years later, discovery is shifting again — this time from search engines to answer engines. Same fundamental problem: businesses need to be findable in whatever channel their customers are actually using. FindWhat.ai is the second generation of that work, tuned for how ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews decide what to cite.

Why we built FindWhat.ai

Why did we build FindWhat.ai?

The AI-visibility tools on the market — Profound, Semrush AI Visibility, Otterly, Peec — are monitoring subscriptions: they track your number over time, and deciding what to change is largely left to you. We wanted a plan, not just a report card. FindWhat.ai runs the audit (transparent rubric, live prompt runs, spot-checkable receipts) and ends with a ranked fix list — what to change, where, and in what order — so you, your team, or your agency can ship it.

Between 40% and 60% of the domains AI answer engines cite change month-over-month. That’s why the audit shows its receipts — the exact answers and sources on the day it ran — and why it’s priced to re-run after you ship fixes.

Proof

Does it actually work?

The clearest proof point so far: Vantage Pointe LLC spent the first six months of 2026 running cold calls and in-person drop-offs and had booked one client. In the first two weeks after they implemented the top of their FindWhat.ai fix list themselves, they booked six appointments. Since then: dozens of leads, closing at roughly 50% because they’re high-intent. Results as reported by Vantage Pointe.

How it works

What does the audit actually do?

You paste a URL. We crawl up to 3 of your pages on the $1 basic (10 on the $50 full audit), run real prospect prompts live against ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews (all five major engines on the full audit), and score you against five scored pillars. You get a PDF, a receipts view with every raw engine answer, and a ranked fix list. The full walkthrough.

Questions, refunds, or data deletion: support@findwhat.ai.

Score first. Then the fix list.

Basic audit ($1, covers engine cost) runs in about two minutes on your real URL.
