Nothing about the FindWhat.ai audit is cached, aggregated, or estimated. We run live queries against the actual answer engines your prospects use, score the responses with a transparent rubric, and let you spot-check every claim.
We read your site the way AI does
We visit up to three of your pages on the basic audit (and up to ten on the full audit) and check everything AI engines look for when deciding whether to cite you: your content, your structured markup, your page performance, and whether you’re easy for AI to read at all.
We ask five AI engines about you
We generate the prompts your prospects actually type — branded searches, category searches, comparison searches — and fire them at every major AI engine. For each answer, we track whether your brand got mentioned, whether your domain got cited as a source, and whether the engine explicitly recommended you.

We score, rank, and tell you what to do first
Your readiness score is a single 0–100 number so you can tell your team whether you’re invisible, competitive, or leading. The roadmap is ranked so the fixes that move the needle most sit at the top — no 40-item spreadsheet to prioritize. You get a plain-English PDF plus a live view you can share with your team.
What else do people ask about how the audit works?
How long does the audit take to run?
About two minutes for the basic audit and about five minutes for the full audit. You get emailed the PDF when it completes — you can close the tab and come back.
Which AI engines does the audit test against?
ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews on the full audit — the five engines that actually drive AI-referral traffic today. The $1 basic audit uses ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews — enough to answer the "am I invisible?" question.
How does the audit decide whether your brand appeared or got cited?
Every engine response is graded by an independent AI judge running an open rubric — brand mention, brand citation, competitor mentions, cited domains, accuracy. You see the raw judge verdict for every run in the receipts view, so nothing is hidden.
Are the audit results reproducible?
Not perfectly — no AI-visibility tool's can be. SparkToro measured under 1% reproducibility on identical queries; AirOps found ChatGPT gives the same answer only ~73% of the time. We run two repeats per prompt to catch nondeterminism and flag disagreement between the judge and the raw response.
What's the difference between the basic and full audit?
Basic scans up to 3 of your pages and checks two engines — enough to spot obvious invisibility. Full scans up to 10 pages, adds Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini, and gives you a complete ranked roadmap plus per-engine citation targets. Same underlying rubric; the full audit gives you far more evidence per pillar and a plan you can hand to a team.
Does the audit cost anything to re-run?
Basic audits are $1 each (covers our engine cost). Full audits are $50 per run. Retainer clients get a fresh audit every month, included — so you can watch the number move.
